Minhaj Institute for Qira'at and Tehfeez-ul-Quran was established by Shaykh-ul-Islam Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in April 1994. Since its inception, thousands of students have memorized the Holy Quran, and hundreds are currently enrolled.

MIQT is a model institution known for modern education, structured training, and diverse facilities.
Currently, over 600 students are memorizing the Holy Quran while continuing their contemporary education. Many alumni are now serving in various fields.
MIQT facilitates Quran memorization in a state-of-the-art campus with a beautiful Arabic recitation tone adhering to rules of Tajweed.
Huffaz are offered a two-year Tajweed and Qira'at course under the supervision of expert Qaris, along with Matric-level schooling.
A dedicated multimedia classroom/seminar hall/conference room is available for Tajweed and Qira'at training, enabling students to practice recitation with world-renowned Qaris and instructors from Egypt and Iran. As a result, students regularly secure top positions in national and international Qira’at and Hifz competitions.
